Flats roof systems have a bad reputation for being leaky short-lived nightmares. When installed correctly, a single-ply roofing system can provide a reliable lifespan of 20 years or more. Using commercial grade installation techniques, Distinctive Roof Services provides peace of mind that is functional and looks great.

EPDM Rubber

EPDM rubber is the traditional single-ply system. The rubber itself is extremely long-lived. The downside is that the seams are adhered together instead of welded together and therefore less reliable than the other systems. Also, rubber is traditionally black which absorbs a lot of summer heat and increases A/C costs. This system can be a good option for smaller roof sections with few seams.

TPO

TPO is a white membrane that is welded together at the seams. This is a versatile system that can provide reliability and energy savings.

PVC

PVC membranes are similar to TPO in that they are white and the seams are welded together. Because they are very chemically stable, PVC systems are a great choice for commercial applications such as resteraunts or factories. PVC is resistant to the degradation that greases, oils, or other pollutants might cause.
